About the Dalesmen

The Fighting Dalesmen was the name of our Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) party in a campaign that spanned 10 years. We were friends before that, and since then have added more to the crew. Since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020, we have spent a lot of time together via our Discord server, hanging out and hosting silly events. Check Please is yet another one of those events, and we wanted to share it with you, while also finding a way to give back!

About Girls Who Code

We're on a mission to close the gender gap in tech.

In 1995, 37% of computer scientists were women. Today, it’s only 24%. The percent will continue to decline if we do nothing. We know that the biggest drop off of girls in computer science is between the ages of 13 and 17. We're reaching girls around the world and are on track to close the gender gap in new entry-level tech jobs by 2030.
